In app manager under all go to google services and uninstall the update. Do the same in google store. If you dont see it uninstall update clear the cache and clear the data. If nothing of the aforementioned worked for you, try to install APKpure or something similar. Then update Google Play and try to download the app you wanted. This was enough for me(htc desire , android , custom build), but you might consider mix of this solution and others, if that's not gonna work in your case. I had to clear the proxy IP address before ans that worked but I can't find how to do it since the interface of ics is different so the instructions on how to do it don't work. Pls help. I havent been able to download or update any apps for 2 days now.
